STR Global and the Association of Serviced Apartment Providers (ASAP) report a strong Q2performance for both London and operators in the rest of the UK.
Serviced apartments in London achieved average occupancy of 81.5%, with RevPAR at £126.67 up a healthy 9 percentage points on quarter one.
For the rest of the UK the performance was similarly strong with average occupancy of 77.8% and RevPAR of £65.86, up 12 percentage points on the first quarter.
Reports on key individual cities show Manchester delivered the best occupancy at 80.2% followed by Edinburgh at 77.7%, Liverpool at 77.5% and Birmingham at 68.4%.
