The Banbury House Hotel has been sold off an asking price of £2.6m for the freehold by Colliers International.
The Best Western-branded Banbury House Hotel, which boasts 64 stylish bedrooms, is well located in a particularly affluent area generating year-round trade, with the opening of the M40 in 1990 expanding the hotel’s business role making Banbury a key town on the London to Birmingham axis. Peter Brunt of Colliers commented:
“Many businesses are attracted to the town because of its position close to the M40 but also from weekend and leisure trade. Banbury is an attractive and interesting destination in its own right but also serves as a wonderful base to tour the surrounding countryside including the north eastern Cotswolds.”
