Great Hotels of the World wins Seven Star Global Luxury Award

Great Hotels of the World, the London-based hotel sales and marketing alliance has received the ‘Best Hotel Collection’ Award at the Seven Star Global Luxury Awards which recently took place at Villa Padierna Palace Hotel in Marbella, Spain.

Great Hotels of the World received the award ahead of other nominees including Leading Hotels of the World, Small Luxury Hotels of the World and Kiwi Collection.

The Seal of Excellence

The Seven Star Global Luxury Awards began in order to recognise and set apart the extraordinary achievements in the hospitality and lifestyle sectors by bestowing upon them the Signum Virtutis – the seal of excellence, serving as a guarantee to the luxury consumer that the recipients are truly the best in the industry.

Nomination and voting

The nominees were selected by the Luxury Panel of the Seven Star Global Luxury Awards and were placed online once approved. Voting was completed by both members of the public and the international trade, where over 357,000 votes were received.  The event itself hosted some of the industry’s most respected CEOs and managers from international tourism and hospitality as well as royalty and tourism ministers.

Peter Gould, CEO of Great Hotels of the World, comments: “We are delighted to have been nominated in such a prestigious category and to be recognised for our unique collection of luxury hotels from around the globe.
