Immerse yourself in true Yorkshire culture, past and present, with the newly opened ibis Styles Leeds City Centre Arena. Inspired by the county’s roots, yet bustling and modern like the city of Leeds, the hotel is expertly designed to have authentic references to the industrial past, with a contemporary twist.

The hotel reception area welcomes guests with an eye-catching patchwork carpet and illuminated iron hanging letters. Chairs and stools in the public areas are upholstered with chunky, wool fabrics in cool grey, bright yellow and warm burnt orange. The combination of vintage industrial materials and modern fabrics and colours represent both the county’s history and the present day culture.

Each of the 134 stylish rooms is adorned with local lingo printed on the walls and mirrors, alongside cityscape graphics decorating the headboards. Designed for the ultimate comfort, each room features the SweetBed by ibis Styles and includes a work desk, a 32 inch flat screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The modern shower room showcases some of Yorkshire’s iconic characters, such as a wicket taker in his whites and head-rocking festivalgoers, etched onto the glass panes of the wet room.

Ideally located in the heart of the city, ibis Styles Leeds City Centre Arena is just moments away from popular attractions, including Leeds First Direct Arena, the O2 academy, Elland Road and The Royal Armouries. For those after retail therapy, the bustling Victoria Quarter and Victoria Gate Shopping District are on the doorstep. The hotel hospitality zone is open 24 hours and serves free tea and coffee, while free Wi-Fi is available throughout.

Marco’s New York Italian, by Marco Pierre White is also available for guests and those living or visiting Leeds. Open daily, this exciting new addition to Leeds’ food scene serves everything from delicious brunches, lunches and dinners to sophisticated drinks and tempting cocktails.

Karelle Lamouche, SVP of Budget & Economy Brands at AccorHotels UK, says: “This exciting new addition to our portfolio of ibis Styles hotels demonstrates our continued efforts to set the benchmark in economy hotels. The interior, in keeping with all ibis Styles, has a bespoke personality and design, inspired by its location, to give our guests a unique and memorable trip. Its close proximity to the city centre makes it the perfect choice for keen explorers and the rooms have been expertly designed with comfort in mind to give our guests the best possible experience.”
