This month the property unveiled the first-phase of its renovation with 54 upgraded guestrooms, an additional 95 rooms in the new 1,300sq metre Executive Centre and courtyard seating for alfresco dining.

The restoration of De Vere Wokefield Estate is part of a wider multimillion pound development project across the De Vere Country Estate portfolio, which will position the mansion house back at the heart of each property to celebrate their unique British history.
De Vere Wokefield’s renovation programme reaffirms its as one of the UK’s leading country estates for premium events with subsequent works planned for completion by the end of Q1 2017. These include, the refurbishment of the Executive Centre’s remaining 73 guestrooms and pre-function space, The Street, as well as the introduction of De Vere’s signature coffee shop, Burr & Co.
Future phases of planned works will also see the transformation of De Vere Wokefield Estate’s historic mansion house. Contemporary yet characterful upgrades that sympathetically enhance the building’s British heritage will occur in all meeting rooms and 87 mansion house guestrooms, as well the addition of a new reception with boot room, restaurant, bar and lounge.
