Luxury London based serviced apartment specialist Cheval Residences has achieved the coveted No.1 position for the second year running, as the serviced apartment company globally with the highest reputation online according to an independent report published on 17 November.
In association with the ‘Travel Intelligence Network’ and ‘ReviewPro’, the ‘Serviced Apartment News Digital Benchmark Report’ was first launched last year and includes ReviewPro research which studies guest satisfaction ratings for quality, the percentage of positive reviews for each brand and the guests’ language used in each review. More than 58 global serviced apartment brands are included in the report where they are given a Global Review Index (GRI) score out of 100. As part of the assessment, 485,000 online guest reviews were analysed.
The updated 2016/2017 report puts the spotlight on how serviced apartment operators are performing in the fields of social media, guest engagement, reputation management and digital marketing.
In 2015, Cheval Residences scored an impressive overall GRI of 92.3% and this year Cheval Residences’ overall score increased to a fantastic 93.3%. Within individual elements, Cheval achieved exceptional results, being placed:
- 1 for Service
- 1 for Location
- 2 for Cleanliness
- 3 for Rooms
George Westwell, director of Cheval Residences, said: “Maintaining the top spot in the Serviced Apartment News Digital Benchmark Report for the second year running is testament to the dedication of the whole team at Cheval Residences and their commitment to continuous improvement. This is a fantastic accolade and follows a year of incredible achievements for Cheval Residences; Cheval Three Quays was awarded ‘Best Villa or Serviced apartment at the 2017 Condé Nast Johansens ‘Awards for Excellence’ this month and ‘Best Branded Residence’ at the 2016 Serviced Apartment Awards as well as retaining the number one spot on Trip Advisor since opening in the category of ‘Speciality Lodging’. In fact, all of our Cheval properties are within the top 25 in the category.”
Cheval Residences’ improvements in 2016 have included offering guests staying at all eight properties a free ‘handy’ phone during their stay which can be used to make free UK calls, as well as international calls to eleven countries, unlimited and free 3G connectivity as well as access to a London city guide. In addition, Cheval Hyde Park Gate launched two exclusive two-bedroom apartments offering guests access to a new state-of-the-art cinema room and gym.
