Four hotels managed by Valor Hospitality Europe are undergoing refurbishment works to transform to Crowne Plaza hotels.
The hotels to benefit from extensive investment are all Holiday Inns, and are based in Stratford-upon-Avon, Harrogate, Solihull and Plymouth. Each hotel will benefit from upgraded bedrooms while the hotel in Harrogate will also see changes made to the bar, lounge, restaurant and reception areas. The Plymouth hotel will open a brand new restaurant on its penthouse floor.
A September relaunch is planned for the hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon, with work due to complete in Solihill by the end of November. The transformations from Holiday Inn to Crowne Plaza in Plymouth and Harrogate are planned for early 2017.
Brian McCarthy, managing director of Valor Hospitality Europe, said: “We felt that bringing the Crowne Plaza brand to each of these four hotels would be the best way to enhance our offering to our customers in these regions.
“Each hotel is in an easy to reach location for business use and already has excellent meeting and conference facilities which is a key offering for Crowne Plaza hotels. Once the rebrand is complete, the hotels will focus on connectivity, wellness and business needs to ensure we’re meeting the demands of customers in these locations.”
The health and wellbeing of guests also plays a big role in each of the four rebranded hotels with new ‘fast and fresh’ menus available as well as ‘Energy Stations’ which include local running, walking and cycling routes to help guests maintain their fitness routines.
The teams at each of the four Holiday Inns will be staying on board at the hotels under the new Crowne Plaza model.
