This September, Hotel Café Royal is pleased to announce a significant new appointment to their in-house team.
Eliot Sandiford joins Hotel Café Royal as Director of PR with a strong luxury brand background including experience in travel, hospitality, restaurants and the fashion world. Most recently, Eliot has spent time in Asia leading the Communications team for a group of luxury family owned properties across Bali, Jakarta, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Prior to this and while based in Hong Kong, Eliot looked after the communications and marketing for the 15-site strong Aqua Restaurant Group, which included the opening of the group’s two London restaurants located within The Shard. Before his move to Hong Kong, Eliot was Head of the Lifestyle Department at Bacchus PR, supporting brands such as Harrods, Langham Hotels International, Nobu Restaurants, Thomas Keller and the Soho House Group.
Eliot’s main focus at Hotel Café Royal will be to increase awareness and to elevate the brand further in the key markets of the US, UK, Europe and the Middle East. The PR role will play a significant part in achieving the hotel’s long term goals and is a key driver in positioning the hotel amongst its London competitors.
Speaking about the appointment, Hotel Café Royal’s Managing Director Thomas Kochs said “We are delighted to welcome Eliot to the team here at Hotel Café Royal, and trust that his experience and that of our existing team will further contribute to developing our position in the luxury hospitality market and communicating that to new and regular guests alike.”
