Sofitel London Gatwick Appoints Globy Ouseph as General ManagerSofitel London Gatwick has appointed Globy Ouseph as General Manager of the 518 bedroom hotel, the only premium hotel directly linked to the North Terminal at London’s Gatwick Airport.

With over 12 years’ experience in the hotel and hospitality industry, Globy Ouseph joins Sofitel London Gatwick, managed and operated by Arora Hotels, from his most recent positon as Hotel Manager at the 605-room Sofitel London Heathrow, also part of the Arora Group. Globy joined Sofitel London Heathrow in 2013 as Food & Beverage Manager. Ouseph will start his new role on 30th May 2016.

Prior to working for Arora Hotels, Ouseph worked at The Hilton Waldorf in central London for over 10 years, progressing from his management trainee position to Director of Conference & Banqueting followed by Hotel Operations Manager in a platform that helped to establish Ouseph as an exceptional leader and hotel operator of luxury London hotels.

Sofitel London Gatwick, situated off junction 9 of the M23, is directly connected to Gatwick’s North Terminal via a covered walkway and only a short monorail ride from the South Terminal. The hotel boasts 518 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites, 14 conference and meeting rooms with first class facilities which can cater for up to 300 delegates. The hotel’s onsite car park, with space for 565 vehicles, secures its popularity as a first rate Park, Rest and Fly product for leisure and business travellers using the London airport

Sofitel London Gatwick  offers three restaurants including, Le Café, a café-style terrace in a vibrant and informal setting, the serene and relaxed Gatwick Oriental serving delicious dishes from the Far East and La Brasserie serving modern European dishes in a  stylish setting. The hotel also offers 2 bars including La Terrasse, a Parisian street-style bar which is the social hub of the hotel and Kua Bar a glamorous cocktail bar with its unique balcony setting.

The Sofitel London Gatwick is managed and operated by The Arora Group under a franchise agreement with Accor Hotels.
