Within six months of entering the UK market, Asia based Compass Hospitality Group has added the historic and newly renovated Lace Market Hotel in High Pavement, Nottingham under its management.
Located in the Lace Market, considered the oldest part of Nottingham and center of the Creative Quarter, the 42-key boutique hotel is steps away from historical attractions like St. Mary’s Church, Galleries of Justice Museum and Shire Hall; as well as the cosmopolitan hub of high street shops and trendy restaurants.
Previously converted from a Georgian townhouse, the hotel was a mainstay for newlyweds and famous visitors to the city. With just 42 rooms and suites, the hotel offers personalized services to guests. Standard room amenities include flat screen HD LCD TV, high speed Wi-Fi, minibar and refreshment counter, and en-suite bathroom. Superior rooms and suites feature original fireplaces, free-standing bathtubs, artworks and period interior designs.
The dining experience is inspirational at Merchants Restaurant showcasing modern British cuisine by British Chef Ben Chaplin, Saint Cocktail Bar with award winning mixologist James Vyse, and Cock & Hoop, a quintessentially British pub majoring on cask ales and gastro food. An elegant meeting room accommodates 22 people comfortably for meetings and private dinners.

Lace Market Hotel is the 6th hotel in UK to be managed by Compass Hospitality. This follows Compass Hospitality’s recent acquisition in August 2015 of the Big Sleep Hotels portfolio in Cardiff, Cheltenham and Eastbourne.
