TUI Group is reported to have sold British hotel booking website LateRooms.com, leaving it free to focus on its core travel businesses.
Though TUI has not provided any details, the price is also reported to have been £8.5million – a steep decline from the £120 million paid by First Choice in 2006. First Choice was subsequently acquired by TUI.
LateRooms.com has been bought by international and long-established travel firm Cox & Kings, which is based in India.
