AccorHotels, the world’s leading hotel operator and market leader in Europe, is delighted that ibis Hotel has been awarded the prestigious accolade of ‘Most Improved Brand of the Year’, in the 2015 BDRC Hotel Guest Survey.
ibis Hotel advanced the most of all brands tracked in a composite measure based on key metrics of ‘Awareness’, ‘Leading Choice’, ‘Usage’, ‘Recommendation’ and ‘Loyalty Ratio’. Created just three years ago as part of a drive that now defines the economy segment, AccorHotels is proud that the ibis group of brands, continues to be recognised for its service. This is the second year the ibis group of brands has claimed the title with ibis budget the recipient in 2014, demonstrating ibis’ commitment to offering guests the ultimate in comfort and the highest level of service.
Strong improvers across all tiers
AccorHotels’ brands featured as strong improvers across all tiers. Pullman, the executive lifestyle upscale hotel brand, advanced considerably in the ‘deluxe/upper full service’ tier, Novotel, the 4-star International midscale brand for business & leisure travelers was the most improved in the ‘mid-market full service’ sector, as well as, ibis and ibis budget for the ‘economy’ tier.
WiFi expected
The BDRC Hotel Guest Survey revealed 60% of respondents expect “basic WiFi to be available throughout the hotel without any additional charge over and above the room rate”. AccorHotels has offered guests complimentary WiFi since 2013, as part of their commitment to emphasising guest satisfaction and taking an innovative approach to cement their leadership in the market, introducing new concepts and constantly listening to customers.
