HOSPA partners with ICAEW Tourism and Hospitality Group

Call for entries to win 2014 HOSPA Career Development ScholarshipsHOSPA– the UK hospitality industry’s leading educational organisation for Financial Management, Revenue Management and IT professionals – has formed a strategic partnership with the ICAEW Tourism and Hospitality Special Interest Group, a part of ICAEW, a world leading professional membership organisation that promotes, develops and supports over 144,000 chartered accountants worldwide.

The ICAEW Tourism and Hospitality Group offers its members access to information updates and news through e-Library resources, journals, articles, market research reports, and catalogues of reading materials. There is also a technical enquiry service for industry-specific questions. In addition, there are monthly newsletters, packed with sector news and developments, as well as changes to legislation. Implementing the 11th edition of the Uniform System of Accounts (USALI)

Under the new agreement, the first official event to be hosted by HOSPA for ICAEW Tourism and Hospitality Group members to attend, will be a seminar on ‘Implementing the new 11th edition of the Uniform System of Accounts (USALI)’ – to be held at 6pm on 19 May 2015, at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower, London.

The speakers will include: Richard Harrington, Regional Director of Finance, Europe at Langham Hotels; David Nicolson, Vice President Finance – Europe, Jumeirah International UK; and Roberto Amodei, Area Director of Finance, UK and Ireland, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, who will all discuss the various stages of implementation of the new 11th edition of the USALI, published in January 2015.
