Antoine Corinthios, the former President of Four Season’s EMEA, with 35 years’ experience at Four Seasons, has been appointed Executive Advisor of Development and Operations for Rocco Forte Hotels. Corinthios will work closely with Sir Rocco Forte and Karim Naffah, Managing Director, to implement the strategy of the Group.
In this role, Corinthios will be actively involved with the senior management team, both at head office and at the ten Rocco Forte Hotels properties across Europe. He will concentrate on developing the pipeline of new hotels, as well as enhancing the delivery of the high service standards for which the group is known. He will join the Executive Committee and will contribute to the strategic direction and the organisation of the Company.
Corinthios is an established leader in hospitality with nearly forty years of experience in the luxury sector across a broad range of international markets. Starting out with Hyatt International in 1977, he then moved to Canada to work with Four Seasons, joining the group in its infancy and helping to shape it into the company it is today. After numerous senior positions in the company, Corinthios became President of Four Season’s EMEA region in 1997 and continued in that role until the end of 2012. He then left Four Seasons and set up his own hospitality advisory business.
Doubling the size of the company
The appointment coincides with Sir Rocco’s recent announcement of his intention to double the size of the company over the next five years. The existing ten hotels in the Rocco Forte Hotels brand are largely European based, an area where the group will continue to concentrate, as well as branching further afield to the U.S.A., the Middle East and Asia.
