As part of London Marriott Hotel Park Lane’s renovation works, due to be completed for June 2015, newly appointed General Manager Nicolas Kipper is seen above taking part in the demolition of the last room this week. Truly a ‘hands on’ GM!
The rooms are now being transformed into the new layout, featuring entrance lobbies and decorated in soft shades of white, dove grey and lavender (see below).
RPW Design (who designed The Royal Suite at The Mandarin Oriental Hotel) is responsible for the plans for opulent guestroom accommodation befitting of the Park Lane address. Plans include all 152 bedrooms, the introduction of five new suites and a redesign of the lobby, Executive Lounge and meeting rooms. The complete transformation of the London Marriott Hotel Park Lane interiors is part of the repositioning of the hotel to be the hotel of choice in Mayfair.
London Marriott Hotel Park Lane is set to complete the extensive renovation in June 2015 as part of the repositioning of the hotel to represent the best of Marriott hotels in London and to be the hotel of choice in Mayfair.

Below: the new layout of rooms will include entrance lobbies and will be decorated in soft shades of white, dove grey and lavender. Materials such as leather, silk, solid wood and bookmatched marble are to be used throughout.
