Boutique hotelier Urban Villa has opened its first property, in the Great West Quarter development in London.

The pioneering hotel contains 100 all-suite bedrooms within a soon-to-be iconic, glass-clad, cylindrical building off the Great West Road commuter lifeline.

Guests are encouraged to treat their suite as an apartment. Urban Villa’s interiors are designed by New York architects Grzywinski + Pons, noted for their progressive work on Manhattan’s Nolitan and The Hotel on Rivington. Artwork comes from Lazarides Editions, part of the world’s leading urban art gallery; the bedrooms also feature both complimentary Malin + Goetz toiletries and Nespresso machines, plus 50” Samsung Smart TVs. Rooms range from 350 to 486 square feet, an astounding size for a London hotel space. The hotel also offers completely complimentary 1GB super-fast wireless Internet, and the most inexpensive telephone call rates in London.
Public areas include BOKI Coffee Co., serving the acclaimed Allpress Coffee and T2 Tea, a rotating selection of seasonal craft beers, a broad range of freshly prepared healthy and organic meals, plus cold-pressed juices.
Sour Diesel, Urban Villa’s lobby bar, features cocktails by Soulshakers, the mixologists noted for their work with Meat Liquor, Glastonbury Festival and Quo Vadis. The lovingly-curated selection of wines, spirits, and artisan aperitifs are served in a multi-purpose indoor-outdoor space. Sour Diesel’s wine cellar is equipped with a Coravin preservation system, meaning the entire wine list can be purchased by the glass.
The private gym features Technogym equipment, free weights and other fitness essentials. Spa treatments have been designed by Viva Therapies.
