Z Hotels launched its first Scottish property in Glasgow in September this year: a designer conversion of the Old Printworks, offering guests urban luxury right in the heart of the city with room rates from just £40 per night.
Located on North Frederick Street, near Glasgow’s George Square, Z Glasgow follows in the footsteps of its sister properties in central London and Liverpool, offering guests short stay accommodation of the highest quality, at an affordable price, in prime city centre locations.
All rooms boast modern interior design, bespoke handcrafted beds, crisp bed linen and en suite wetrooms equipped with power showers. Each room also features the latest 40” LED High Definition TV’s with Sky Sports and Sky Movies available at no extra cost, as well as free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
For guests and non-residents, the Z Café offers an imaginative menu, with freshly made food served in relaxed urban surroundings. With signature Z platters and afternoon treats, the Z Café will provide a pleasant oasis at any time of the day or night.
Fourth and fifth London properties to open in 2015
Z Hotels has announced plans for a fourth London property which will open in Shoreditch on City Road next year.
By the time Z Shoreditch welcomes guests, it will be the sixth property for Z Hotels. With 107 rooms planned, it will adhere to the Z Hotels ethos of providing the quintessential ‘Urbanite Stay’ experience; affordable luxury in a desirable location. Those coming to the capital for business or leisure will be delighted by the room rates which start at just £80 per night.
A designer conversion of a former office building in the heart of London’s Silicon roundabout, Z Shoreditch will be located in The Bower – a new landmark quarter near Old Street which will also include offices, restaurants and retail units.
Gloucester Place
Opening in 2015, with Z Shoreditch, the latest announcement sees the Z team working with the Portman Estate on the conversion of six townhouses in Gloucester Place, London. Two of the houses will open at the end of 2015 with the remaining four opening in early 2016.
Z Bath for 2016
Z Hotels will be opening its first property in the south west of England in 2016. Z Bath is part of a £14 million development in Saw Close and will offer 148 bedrooms; work will start imminently.
This month work will begin on the fifth London venture; Z at Gloucester Place.
